Forward Proxy

A forward proxy is an intermediary server that sits between a client and the internet to act on behalf of the client. When a request is made, the client sends it to the proxy, which then forwards the request to the destination server, receives the response, and passes it back to the client. This setup is commonly used to bypass network restrictions, filter outgoing traffic, enforce security policies, and cache frequently accessed content to improve performance.
